The data collected to report my findings said in this suggestion included every single vote given in the #📝︱server-suggestions channel, excluding votes from people that are the suggestion author or @tidal jungle , excluding suggestions that are bugged (does not have all the voting reactions or is missing a thread), and excluding suggestions that belongs to suggestion authors that are no longer in the server. All these exceptions were done for technical reasons, as well as to generate more reliable data that better reflects the state of the #📝︱server-suggestions channel

you don't need to write an essay. your feedback can be a sentence long, even

#

and if a suggestion is so insignificant it's not even worth your time to provide feedback on, just don't bother even acknowledge it

I agree with you that many people vote without giving feedback why they voted yes or no, but in the end I think it's better not to force or push people to give feedback.

When a person doesn't give feedback.
It may be that the written idea is of immense stupidity.
Or maybe someone else has already written what they wanted to say.
Etc ....

Then think what could happen if everyone gives their feedback in suggestions like "Add a igbtq channel", what would you do, 30 bans?

#

In simple terms, giving feedback is nice because you know what people really think, what needs to be improved etc....But many people don't do it because someone has already written what they wanted to say and above all, it could cause a big debate sometimes that could easily become toxic, racist or whatever

#

At least when aren't emojis or stickers, I always write in all suggestions

whats the point of the voting system if you have to give feedback, sometimes you just want to let them know its bad or good instead of getting in a 3 hour argument for every time you actually give a reason whoknows

Feedback helps to understand why your suggestion sucks and improve it
