I think you must be a little dense to not figure out that you'd have to either change the texture size in your canvas and reupload it into ROBLOX, or actually change the width0 and width1 size of the beam.

Could use more effect layering, I'd think about a shockwave spritesheet with some speed lines around the ground area to indicate that the immense pressure is formed from there. With some light sparks at varying sizes dissipating with a flowy twirl motion. You could also add a little smoke in there to exert visible body heat. I'd also advise you to apply some color theory principles where the yellows aren't overly saturated, so it fades out cleanly to an orangish hue.

its the same texture with squash
its legit a different texture. first up, the inside of the texture of the first one is much less transparent than the second one, which the most you can do with transparency is the whole texture. second up, the spikes of the second texture have different formations than the first, which you cant edit in studio. and finally, the first has a more curvy shape, the second one has a more sharp, triangular shape
this is what it looks like with squash and TRANSPARENCY
im doing something and this isnt so deep that im going to take another screenshot of it without the transparency but it is infact the same

I have been trying to search everywhere and couldn’t find a solid explanation on what the envelope modifier does in the number sequence editor for particle effects. From my experience with it, It seems like it smooths out the transitions from each key point, but I can’t confirm this. Does anyone have any explanation on what does?

I can recognize that he uses trails and regular particles
But I cant help but think that that move specifically is flipbooked
No flipbooks or meshes were used in this video, this is what we would call an hybrid in VFX.
The effect contains just a trail and particle emitters with different properties and textures.
So for an arching slash like this would I make some sort of whirlwind but reduce drag and no rotation speed?
Perhaps an open-sourced asset, could provide you the answer.
