RFMC has some great tutorials for moon suite and its kinda the average for cut scenes i guess. (Moon Suite is an animation plugin btw) and to make some good animations i guess you look through references such as normal human movement, fighting etc etc. I've been watching Dark Souls movesets for my sword animations and it looks great imo.

well the root of my problems is that when I want to make a rig I have to constantly adgjust the joints so that they are 'allign" because they are automatically placed in the "center" of each mesh part.
