It's been a while since I've really been committing to the game and the LS quests really motivated me to continue. I'm about to unlock JML as my first GL. What should i pursue after now? Like should i aim for journey characters, or focus on forming specific teams. I'm just a tad lost.

You already have Executor, that's great! However, you really need 6 dots mods and the other zeta on Piett to make your Executor as fast as possible. Jedi Master Luke is kinda bad on defense but it may do the job in carbonite.
Here are my recommendations:

1. Put the omicron on Wampa asap, it's really good on offense in GAC, but useless without the Omicron
2. Put the zeta and the 6 dots mods on Piett asap. (Also, having Cad Bane and Beskar Armor Mandalorian at R5 can be useful. If you have enough cristals, upgrading yur Executor to 7 stars can be good when the event will come back)
3. After your JML farm: Finish your Darth Revan/Darth Malak farm (I know you have them but you should relic them), and prepare for the assault battle #places-of-power .

Then, there are many possibilities:

• Padawan Obi Wan and Master Qui Gon Jin at R5 (maybe R7 later): good galactic republic jedi who can carry the awesome Duel of the fates assault battle. They can go in a Kelleran Beq team (any gamemod) or a Qui Gon Jin team in GAC.
• Finishing your Phoenix team (R3, more if you want) in order to have a good team in conquest, gac, TW. You can try Secret and shadows ct1 with this, good luck.
• Farming Imperial troopers (veers lead, piett, range trooper and you can choose between Starck, Scout Trooper Moff Gideon or Snowtrooper, Moff Gideon and Scout trooper are more expensive but Scout Trooper is required for Leia ) at G12 and Dark Trooper at R5, in order to do the ct2 and maybe ct3 of the assault battle #rebel-roundup . You will need Veers G12, Range Trooper G12, your R8 Piett, G11 Super Commando, G12 Gar Saxon to do CT3 of #forest-moon.
• I really think your next GL should be Leia, she is one of the best GLs (if not the best), and you're closer to her than any other GL (after JML)

Also, small farms you can do:

• Putting your Inquisitorius at R3 in order to do CT2 of #fanatical-devotion (maybe R2 is enough idk)
• Mara Jade in order to have a Palpatine Vader Mara Jade team, which is good in early game (the team will be replaced later, but it's very useful to farm because all of these characters are requirements)
• Doing the journey quest for bounty hunters and then upgrading Fennec to R5 to have a better Bossk team

(All of this is just strategical advice, but, as you can see, there are many possibilities, and it's a game, so feel free to farm what you enjoy!)

Important thing: Do not upgrade Beskar Armor Mandalorian yet. He will be obtainable at G13 full zetas on April 21st in the journey quests

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this response. I did have crystals but i mightve panic bought here and there for JML xD. but i will surely look into the other reccos youve told me.

as for the possible routes to take right now.

I can make either padawan obi or master QGJ relic rn since i still have the light speed token for jedi, is there one that performs better with relics or maybe one that is fine being at g12 for a while?

for phoenix, should i get kanan up or just work with the given ezra? if i remember correctly people use kanan over ezra in phoenix teams.

As for the GL Leia, Then i might just go for her. To be frank i went with JML first cuz i just like Luke alot, so i thought i might as well go for him. I originally wanted to go for JMK, but the reqs are abit rough. Even with all of this, I'm really tempted to try to go for LV with those order 66 units cuz it looks so fun, but how expensive would that be to get to that point might i ask?

for the inquis, is it worth it to push for GI? and what does the mara jade team go into later, SK?

Mara Jade will go temporarily in a Palpa Mara Vader, then on a Palpa Mara Starkiller, an eventually on a Palpa Mara Vader Duel's End when you'll unlock conquest units
(Because Starkiller will go on a Cere Malicos, and then on a Stranger team)

Yes, it's a possibility. GI doesn't seem that great as a character without Third Sister however.
With Inquisitorius at R7, you can try the Third Sister mission on Rise of the Empire, but it is very hard without Marrok Omicron. If you can do it, it can allow you to be in a really good guild.

Both POW and MQJ will be needed at relics for the three last tiers of the assault battle, and you kinda need relics on both anyway to make them perform.

I would put the LST on Padawan Obi Wan, because he's the attacker, but you will really need MQJ for the assault battle (just having him G12 can allow you to gain a lot of mod materials, but I will still advice putting him at R5 at least when possible)
Padawan Obi Wan Omicron is great in conquest, but you will litteraly have the GL in conquest (JML) so Idk if it's needed for you, but keep than in mind if you struggle in conquest.

About the Phoenix, Kanan is better than Ezra, but I honestly kept my Kanan at G12 personnaly, and it still works because my team is fast

You are very far for LV and it is a very very long and difficult farm.

Do what you want, but strategically, it's not great at all, as you're way closer to Leia

yeah im aware, i might just delay it then. One last thing if its fine, Here are the LSTs that i have. One of them(the jedi one) will go to POW. Which toons should i give the other three to?(Empire, BH, Droid)

the applicable toons to make it easier for the advice:

If i were to rush for leia post JML unlock, the BH would go to boushh, and the empire would go to scout to knock down two units for gearing(out of the remaining 7 units that need g13)

Yes, the assault battle is great, and the team is good in 3v3

(If you want a good 5v5 team with Night Trooper and Death Trooper Peridea, you can farm Great Mothers, Morgan Elsbeth and Nightsister spirit. It's expensive but it's one of the best teams in the game, great in all gamemods with spirit, and carrys secret and shadows CT3 with a G10 zombie instead of spirit)

However, I think you should finish your current farms first

I will add if your someone who invest in coli. The Enoch trio is a great place for 3 auro tokens. Gets you the mod and kyro return and between farms you can give them r7 for relic returns

the token there is for everything from era of apprentice and prior so idk if theres like super important character

You can’t use an auro token on Malak so I’d use it on MQG or POW

MQJ because POW is already G13

(No LST can be used on Malak, because no LST can be used on the characters in the journey guide, including tb units and raid characters, and all conquest characters.
The only exceptions are journey quests specific LST, like CLS specific LST.)
