Nah gg can wait, tbh focus on razor, and tie for now. Gg isn't really worth the fleet costs early. He very bad early game till relics and droids are built. Yea he has a capitol but that takes a long time to buy all of the shards. Gg can be given as rewards in geo assault battles which is fine you could get lots there till you are ready to actually farm for his team...

Naw gg doesn't take that long to farm in fleet and having him sit for half a year or more at g1 isn't that good use of fleet currency it's better to buy zetas and progress your teams you are using. Early once you start farming his droids then it's fine gg usually shows up 3 times a week which is 30 shards. Or 150 a month. Which in top of assault battles prizes for time and few drops here probably gives him 30 plus as well.

That is approx 60-70 shards a month

I mean gg teams ok but it requires a lot of investment in relics early game it isn't worth it for most first year accounts unless your spending well or your getting first in the fleet a ton of days .

You don't have to invest the team early but theres just not all that much else you'd do anyway, sure you could get maybe half a zeta more per month with the currency you'd save but imo early on its not that important, yes you want zetas but you don't even have that many good options for zetas early anyway and you have a decent enough income already

On top of that if your spending a bit you have much bigger projects going from lsbs or characters for gls or if more light spending reven and other journeys.

Not really, LSB yes I would say focus zetas then but that's niche tbh haven't been any recently and OP sounds like they are early game with no LSB if they're concerned about DV shipments
And for light spending like going for revans

No my point is if your doing light spending there's tons of teams just as good if not better the gg at way lower cost of resources to keep you busy for months so why use resources now to have a paper weight...g12 reven team four zetas on reven team cause you didn't buy shards, vs GG team with two zetas on gg what's better investment.

That's my point you don't need to build something especially the closer you are to ftp that's going to sit for 2 years possibly at 7 stars g1. If you want to do gg you plan it out for few months and do it then as side project as you gear him up and his team.
But at every 5 buys he gets now cost him a zeta material. So it cost him 2 zetas that he can apply sooner then having a door stop.

But then when he's going for gg properly and having to farm him he'll need to sacrifice zetas when his account is much bigger and likely has an even bigger demand for zetas on multiple characters

That's just it when your bigger you have more assault battles done and you can get zetas from that and weekly as well so it won't cost you as much. Also you might get a lot from assault battles saving you some buys as well he drops in galactic war rarely as well. If your willing to spend a little he got a pack for 80 shards as well .
So question is when to buy him and work on him and that's when your going to invest time and resources and zetas to get him good which is going to require r7 and all his droid allies at least r5. At that cost there's much more effective teams that rewards him assault battles. @hazy bramble
