#Does the grind ever get better? Do you ever feel satisfied?

About 2 months into the game and I am enjoying it a lot. But...starting to feel the grind. Daydreaming of having so many units that I don't have. And I hear things like it takes a year or more to get just 1 galactic legend.

Would you say the game gets better as you get more units, or do you keep wanting the units you don't have? I'll probably keep playing anyways because its still fun, but just wondering if it gets better.

To reply to the OP, I am about 9 months in and all I can say is that games like this are designed to show you things you don't have constantly, especially the new shiny toys that are not really designed to be tackled by new accounts.

Personally, having a clear path with some specific teams I wanted to get helped me a lot, because while there's always a next one or one I wish I had and is not in my path instead, I get small satisfactions constantly when I finish the projects I decided to take on

I'm about to go for my first GL, but I already got teams that really satisfied me like the Revans, Bounty Hunters and especially SK

So yea, the game is not made to make you feel satisfied from a roster building point of view because it's a super long term thing with constant additions, but you can deifnitely set yourself up to be satisfied project by project

Oh no not really, there are plenty of options, mostly in pvp

I've used SK a lot lately and it's the best feeling ever within the game for me

Simming is mostly for pve content and early on, but there is plenty of stuff to actually play, so you can deifnitely make your fun out of it

I think the most important part is having a long term plan with several short term goals, so you keep a steady progression but also feel rewarded

Yeah Grand Arena is pretty dead for me because I only have 1 good team to put on defense, but I hear grand arena can be fun

  2. Gear 13 bounty hunter team
  3. Get imperial troopers strong enough to get 7 star R2D2
  4. Get CLS
  5. Seperatists for Padme (maybe here is where I go for geos?)
  6. Padme Gear 13
  7. Emperor Palpetine 7 star
  8. Emperor Palpetine, Mara Jade, and Vader gear 13

Well first it will be my Jedi team but she replaces Qi Gon. So: Padme, Ani, Ahsoka, Mace, and Yoda. But eventually I will get Kenobi to replace Yoda.

Squad arena is a dead mode since there’s no crystals lol. Basically a “sandbox” now to just do whatever.

The grind never really gets better. There will be times when it goes fast, and times when it goes really slow. The people at the top of this game are the ones who have been playing since the beginning and never stopped. That’s the trick, never stop.

if you farm good things and dont like relic an entire ewok or phoneix squad or something, then its a lasting payoff because you see an increase in rewards, get into better guilds, etc.

be efficient, farm your mods, get good GLs/fleets, and you will be satisfied with your progress across all game modes

Getting a good team feels nice but you quickly get over it, however doing a big project like a mega fleet or a GL has a longer lasting effect as it skyrockets your account performance in different modes

pro tip, early on focus on your fleets. fleet arena is where the early game crystals are at, and you can dominte on a new shard if you're a HDB account

I don't know if its a big deal, but Yoda gets extra turn meter from ally Jedi's for his battle meditation ability. So Padme on the team is 10% less turn meter. Also his Masterstroke needs 1 jedi alive to get a bonus turn, so if the last ally is Padme he loses the bonus turn.

But its kinda fringe, maybe he is still better than Mace
