GAC-focus roster review, questions listed (new here, lmk if the link doesn't work)

1: Working on JKR squad using Mace instead of General Kenobi because raids are broken and I won't be getting him to G12 anytime soon. I have zetas on Revan Lead and Jolee, which others are needed for this squad before I start working on Qui-Gonn? Should JKR go on defense in 3v3 vs 5v5? If he's an offense squad, who do I attack with him?
2: What should I do with Savage on defense? I've currently got him at G12 with Talon and Marauder (both at G8) mainly to just round off to 3 characters, but I don't know what to do with him when we come back to 5v5. I need something good for my frontline defense (Iden Omicron is staying in front of ships because my ships are terrible) so I'm keeping Savage there right now but idk. My Palpatine team is kinda bad at the moment (Palp, MJ, and Vader are the only ones geared, and even that's a bit of a stretch) so I was thinking about putting Sav there but that either kicks palpatine off offense or Savage off defense, neither of which seem good. Additionally, I was going to put Nihilus with Palpatine for 5v5 (so I can get the instakill, which is much better on offense) as Traya is nowhere in sight (again, raids).
3: How geared should my squads be before I start working on new ones? I'm hoping to get 12 squads (so I can at least be going into bronzium league GAC without my pants down) to at least gear 12 before I start really focusing on relics but that might be splitting my attention too much. The next squad I want to get geared after JKR is Qui-Cron, then get the zeta on KRU lead, then I was gonna go for Sana Starros, followed by Dash. Should I relic some of my teams before I go down this path? I'm thinking my first relic should either be Darth Vader, Dark Trooper, JKA, or Mace Windu. Any advice?

Alot of questions and planning on your end, tbh as you are in carbonite, working on your mods is the best tip i can give you.

Read up on mods and keep working on them, always do x3 mod refresh per day

As an example of mod importance , this is one of my GAC Geo defense (also in carbonite) my Geos stopped their counter (Vader and even r8 one) simply because i had a huge mod advantage. Everything after that went downhill for him, ending up with 5 holds and instant loss for him. All of this done by a "well" modded g 12 squad

Also get your vader to Relics, he is a team of his own and will do wonders on offense

Answer to question 3: depends on the team! Some teams work at low gear, some want g12 minimum, and others need to be reliced to work

Also… going into bronzium without reliced teams will be going in with your pants down
