So I have recently made it to 2 mil Gp and got C-3PO to 7 stars. I’ve been thinking about going for GAS but am a bit uneasy about it because I recently got Malak. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Work on your JKR, DR, and Padme teams, while farming the ships for Executor, if possible. Keep buying shards for Malak with GET1. By the time your Sith Empire, Padme, and JKR teams are finished, you'll have all the Executor ships at 7*. After, you can either upgrade CLS further or go for Executor, for which you'll only need the relics and BAM.
If you go CLS first, farm the BAM reqs

Later on when people start lining up 7* Executors in the top placement and he went on building a bunch of teams instead of fleet focus, it's gonna be forever to correct it

And Executor reqs are heavy, he can't just in paralel farm the ships...he needs 3 hard farms on ships only, that takes away a lot of capacity to work on other stuff + a lot of hard farms for the reqs themselves...
Exec looks easier than it is, in reality it takes a lot of focus on it to get it done and a lot of resources.
He needs to hit a lot the kyro node, hit a lot LS9F for IDs, needs quite a bit of signal data as well

When I was gearing for Rey while farming all the ships, I managed nicely. 6 months for about 12 relics, all while being full with shard farms. I think he can manage if he plans well.
JKR needs 3 major relics (JKR, Yoda, Jolee)
Padme needs 2 major relics (JKA, GK)
DR needs 2 major relics
(DR, BSF)
Total 7 relics, so about 3 months. Meanwhile, he would be halfway done with the ships.
The other half continues while doing the Executor. Impulses can be farmed after the ships are done.
I find it imperative to improve the Negotiator fleet which is heavily reliant on GK and JKA as well, because otherwise there is no use for it.

Fair, imo only detour I'd make is farm imp troopers to make use of Piett + get 2 CT1 ABs. Would total to 5 CT1 with roster he already has. And farm Chewpio to finish out CLS.
After troopers and Chewpio go hardcore on Exec reqs and do only JKA and GK relics, then only Exec relics. He doesn't need anything else if you ask me, can deal with most stuff just fine for now, including Normal conquest with CLS and Padme.
After Exec do big stabilization phase of 3-6 months, can get GAS then and flesh out the teams he already has.

I think there's too much pressure rn on fleets from alts and whales and hence why I think it's a prio, but also I recognise people not liking fleets so much so I deffo think it's a personal choice kinda thing...
however we have a saying in my language that goes "if you don't pay on the bridge, you're gonna pay on the viaduct" which I think applies here...you can skip the fleet thing now, but it will come eventually and the price might end up being more steep then

:kekw: I can verify the veracity of that. Honestly depends on the Fleet shard. Eg, my main struggles for top 20, but my other account is always 17 to 20, even though they both have about 16 Executors
Negotiator can get to the highest position without an Executor. If that's top 10, then top 10 is possible

I know crystal income is important but not at expense of the other 90% of the game. Build good teams and when the guys needed for executor are more manageable then go for it

I stand behind that imo there's plenty development already and adding a troopers team and GK/JKA relics would be more than enough for that account before Exec.
However, this is an opinion thing and I only advocate for what I think is optimal. Ofc optimal may be not always the most fun way

Honestly tbh Im in a pretty old shard with only executors in top 20 and then negotiators from 20-50 and starting lineup of ht ahsoka and jka actually allows me to beat mirror matches with the 'ideal' lineup and with more than 100k power more than me

OP, if you care for fleet, then further investing into GR will benefit you the most -- specifically Negotiator fleet.
Anything and everything for GAS requirements benefits your account.
Further gearing your Malak for Sith Empire is a good choice. Also, specifically for GeoTB and fleet, gearing your Geos -- G12 on all is an option, G11 Poggle 'cause he sucks if you want. Otherwise, could take GBA + Spy to G13-r0 to r3.
Balance between shard farming vs gear. Point is, you are too far away from Executor

Ouch, in my opinion doesn't look good at all . Start over , if u want to enjoy game and participate in various events PVP/PVE . Check out youtuber Darth Loquitor, he'll guide u up how to be proficient. I'm a bit over 2 mil GP , but the difference is way too big .( https://swgoh.gg/p/353969371/) Also made a huge mistake in the beginning in not farming ships and going for CLS/Revans ( imfo waste of recourses for a beginner) . And now , not playing for a 5-6 month's , there is already 10 Executors 7* in the fleet shard , which makes me rush Executor as well 😄

And not all Fleet shards are the same. His may be older and there are few Executors
