My defense has been holding up pretty well as long as I was in aurodium 1 but I am now in kyber 3 with only 3 GLs (kylo coming very soon). I think id stick Rey and JMk on defense.
I’d hold back gas and cls for offense
You have big geos so they’re a good defensive team but probably less effective at that level
You could put Jedi under qui gonn on defense
But I generally find they’re better on offense
SK and malgus are two guys that probably a lot of people don’t have experience against so you might win a few bc they don’t know how to/can’t counter
Overall…in my experience most people in kyber have 4ish GLs. Most of the battles I have fought they have either decimated me and it didn’t matter or we each kill each others non GLs

I’d suggest you to get/gear Ben Solo ASAP and stick Rey at defense.
Keep Rey only at def (top zone), as well as GAS, SK, Malgus and CLS, Dash, Maul and QGJ at bottom. Keep back zone with mediocre teams.
Rest teams gives you enough space to counter one shot various teams.
As long as you are able to close ships, you are in a more or less good shape even versus players with more GLs.

So, JMK on one of your front territories and Malgus on the other front territory to start. Those are two teams that force some very specific offense from your opponent.
Like Lola said, Ben is gonna be big for you so hopefully you unlock him soon.
Dash with his datacrons is a complete menace right now. He's one I've had opponents misjudge a lot and just bleed banners as a result.
I'd also slap something tricky on your back wall. Maybe keep QGJ back and throw him on the back wall. See if your opponent depletes their offense cutting through, only to get stuck by a sticky team preventing a full clear.
You've got a strong offensive core with JML, SK, CLS, GAS, and Troopers. Plus Wampa, Grievious, Bounty Hunters, and Vader.

Feed JMK in defense for solo Vader is a kinda bad move.
