does anyone know how long the rma process takes and is it possible for me to ask for a different psu back and pay for it and a refund on the old one my 750w psu after they receive it. it is having problems with randomly shutting off during gameplay and my system barely draws 500w so it cant be too much power draw I wanted to switch from my cx750 to an rm850i psu

After you create a ticket, it can take a few days up to a couple weeks if support is super busy.
I'd recommend providing as much information as you can upfront to reduce the number of times you have to go back and forth.
Have you tried some of these suggestions to lead you to suspect that the PSU is at fault: checking that nothing is overheating, no loose connections, etc.?
Yes I reset my bios reconnected all cables and check for damage and temps and power draw is also good I suspect it’s my psu unlikely but possibly my cpu also windows even viewer reports a fatal hardware error every time I boot
Does it display an error code?
I found this also: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025085372-PSU-How-to-test-a-PSU-Power-Supply-Unit
So far this is all it displays
What info does Copy, copy? Does Details show anything more specific?
Looking for something like WHEA_ERROR_RECORD_HEADER
Ok so I just re socketed my cpu and the error seems to have gone away I’m thinking when I installed the contact frame for my new aio cooler I got the other day I installed it way too tight and I went back and left it much less tight not I’m just going to keep gaming and make sure it doesn’t randomly power off like before
Hopefully it was just bad cpu and motherboard pins contact
update: my system shut off multiple hours into a gaming session but support did get back to me and is going to send out an rm850x and have me send back the 750 after I test it
