Recently picked up one of https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/pc-components-accessories/cc-8900683/gpu-anti-sag-bracket-black-cc-8900683 for the ol’ 5000d airflow and as I’m installing, I can’t quite seem to figure out how the back of the bracket should be interacting with the rear of the case. It looks like I might need to snip a a few mm of the sheet metal in the back that’s part of the vert mount io covers(I’m not using)with some snips, but thought I make sure before it’s permanent. Since this bracket is basically a myth, there’s little guidance I can find online. Someone out there in PC Part Land has surely done this exact install and if you see this, h e l p.

Dremel did the trick. Tons more airflow now.
Kidding. I don’t know how I missed this vid from the prawn. https://youtu.be/qjqETktWkb4?si=-S_bII0gX7WoAu6x
Hello! This is the Provoked Prawn and here I'm showing you how you can add a anti-sag bracket to your gaming PC while also making it look fancy?! This is an anti-sag GPU bracket from Corsair that's compatible with the company's various cases and also works nicely with the Lighting accent triangles. I'm adding it here to the Corsair 5000D Airflow...
So it just sits there. I’m definitely not leaving the vert io covers off though.
you install it over the pcie covers
