and the 50 1.8 is a S line, they made it more affordable

Canon is, people still love to crap on nikon. Nikon glass tends to be the best, compair 70-200 f2.8 across brands and Nikon is the sharpest and has the best color reproduction. I like Nikons colors the best. Sony ergo is bad for me, and has too much green in the raws. I dont like canon UI or the muddled raw colors.
