i would say the size of your vehicle really impacts your driving style
trucks are big, heavy and high above the ground, it kinda makes you think that you're moving slower than you are and that you're safer than you are
a smaller car makes you more aware of where you are on the road and the distance you put between yourself and others
you also subconsciously drive slower

Yeah my polo barely does 85hp, but locking hp on lower trims kinda don’t make sense for such small increments, they likely use the same motor anyways, we are taking 30hp increments

Theoretically electric motors are pretty much the peak of powering things, instant torque for the whole RPM range, 95%+ efficiency, regenerative braking, light, no maintenance, and few moving parts so super high reliability in all temp
Really it’s the engineers paradise compared to a complicated combustion engine with 1000+ parts and pistons accelerating/decrlerating 400x per second
The whole challenge is the storage really, and it’s just getting better every year
The massive EV push is clearly way too early, battery tech will be really great in 5-10 years probably, not now

A polo is kind of just too small, also the Tesla model 3 is definitely one of the Uber cars, price per km is pretty much unbeatable, super reliable too obviously

I think the price of the car has less meaning and it probably comes down to maintenance and price per km, they beat up cars, they need to last 500k km+, though you could say the same about Toyota, it’s just that we prefer German cars

and it’s 0W-20 i seen people switching to thicker oil don’t have this problem

I would think a high performance engine would only use 0-40 or 5-40

I did put 0w-40 once at home but didnt seem like the engine liked it i went back to 5w-40 mobil1. The last oil change i put the 75k+ "high mileage" blend
Cant tell any difference between the high mile and regular blend but i'll probably keep putting the high mile one

and you can hand over the used oil to workshops for free
