Here's a fun one. So I fitted a dual piston BOV. It's caused the van to run rich at the low end and lean out at the top end, it's opening under throttle and causing compressor surge 😂.

I shoved a blanking plug on an just flat removed the BOV and problem solved.
So I do need a release on the engine due to the future upgrades looks like I need a diverter from GFB which can handle more boost and actuates far quicker. Also being a divert means I can kill any compressor surge so that's a win

S1000 RR/M RR - weighing at 432 pounds (without rider) claiming it's 205hp at 13,000rpm. On the dyno it produced 189.4hp at 13,220rpm and 79.2lb ft. of torque at 11,000rpm stock. That is double the speed/power of my old ZX-7R track bike with Stage III jetted and bolt ons that was producing around 140whp peaking at 11k rpm this was back in the mid/late 90s this was fast at that time but always got whipped by my cousin FZR 600 through the turns on the track. Straight away his bike was no match to keep up. My track/speed days over. I'm to old but I'm still thinking about getting another sport bike (I have few on my mind) just to cruise on the street.

i had the GFB DV that sat like right on the factory solenoid and had no issues. On my older car I used a Forge 007 DV more like I think you are looking for and it worked flawlessly

The GFB one is the one I need for mine. the 007 DV would cause problems with the ECU being confused where the boosts going to which is partly why it was having issues looking at what the ECU was doing.
Only plus is now I am using a larger diameter pipe on the turbos cold side its making its lessned the restriction so in theory it runs better

yeah that's the GFB style I had on my mk6. The 007 was on a 1.8t and it replaced the plastic Bosch one. it didn't vent it was recirculating, so basically a 1 for 1 replacement just a better part.

Ah yeah makes sense, yeah so on mine I had to add a boost tap to the manifold sensor. Not hard just annoying as you have to space the intake mounts upward to allow it to fit.
Mines this oddball EA211, so cold and hot air chambers are now silicone and the airbox is a smaller one with a cone filter inside. Also air water intercooler, you know to be annoying
