#GS live PvP paintpoints

Main painpoints and oddities so far in no particular order:
- Hydrus Pact gives 0% ward absorption
- every summoning adds an additional 50% HP dmg protection turn
- summons act after opponent and its follower (turn order is: summoner > opponent > follower > summon)
- BP and HyPa do not cause status effects from e.g. weapon adorns
- summons need 2 whole turns before acting (turn order: summoning > opponent > summoned summon waits > summoner > opponent > summoned summon waits > summoner > opponent > summon acts)
Suggestions:
- HyPa gives 25% ward absorption
- summoning doesn't influence 50% HP dmg protection
- summons act after the summoner
- BP and HyPa can cause status effects from e.g. weapon adorns
- summons act the turn after they're summoned
The problem with fixing pacts not applying status effects is that they'll most likely start being affected by CA, refract and so
And that one of the 50% damage protection has already been adressed by Odie, but it's more of a house rules issue, and how "rounds" work over there
So that's one point less.
However being either able to apply statusses or triggering CA and whatnot seems like smth worth discussing.
Myself, I'd hapily give up the Counterattack protection (which I admit I wasn't aware of) for status effects.
Also wouldn't mind some amount of summon block being returned while non-beos get innate block from followers + amities and Beos get that + class block + Jord to further add to the RNG being skewed in their favor
Even capping at 1-2% per summon for a maximum of 10% at 5 summons would still be less than 2 7% amities or just a Coral Reef's innate 12% block chance but is something I'd like to see at some point 😅
No need to return to the terror of OG GS
@open leaf Found a new one - Ward Absorb Amities (for some reason) also appear to provide 1/2 of the amity when using HyPact 🤔
So instead of 0% like the ability gives or 4% like the amity says, I am getting 2% for some reason
-Text turns blue when counterattack responds to HyPact but no counterattack occurs - sometimes the text even says "_____ counterattacked" but does nothing
-If your 2nd chance procs while "counterattacking" a HyPact it says "damage reduced" instead of "has a second chance" (dunno if these are HyPAct specific)
So even tho it does bypass CAs it seems like spaghetti🍝
Yeah definitely seems like some uh-oh-spaghetti-ohs
Summons should act based on FS
Players will have to spec into FS in order to not get turul blocked.
Etc.
Plz remove summoning sickness so summons can act after the turn they get summoned
Without waiting for a year before anything happens
Whats the current math of summon protection in pvp?
Think it as a gs buff
As far as I can tell GSA and GS have a 1% chance in PvP or something incredibly low
Whereas even with a fully stacked cele weapon, I have yet to see a GSH get a block
I mean even beo can get summons to block with decent rate

After the big nerf from long ago, I don’t think so
Then it should still have okay rate
Atleast when i have used it with eos i get the protected messages quite alot
Idk, I don’t use any summon protection gear, but it pretty much never procs
Which is heavily nerfed in PvP
It's a very rare occurrence for me on any of the GS even when I stack it (in PvP)
I'm curious if it's not a nerfed summon protect but a nerfed GS summon protect which is why you see it on Beo xD
Its nerfed summon protection in general bc low amounts of summon protection is basicly very rare thing to happen in pvp vs pve
Ive tested summon protection in both pvp and pve and pvp nerf is noticeable. I would love the pvp nerf to be removed bc now we have alot things to counter summons/summon protection so its not realy needed
We have beasttaming, aoe moves are meta and the nasty cant miss meta

Yes
I actually got about 20-25% block while testing
But that was still too low for me especially to give up adorn and weapon and chest and offhand slots
I’d say the general pain points remain the same after a goodness lot of PvP in the tournament and this last month
But I’d add a few:
-Titan Runes are something GS can’t get around without Hyperion Gear which then means less Foresight which then means significant disadvantage
-Titan Runes are something GS has no way to apply to force a symmetrical issue on the opponent
-Having only 1 summon but no additional protection while health protection is now rounds puts GS at a disadvantage
-t9 Summoner Hydrus has extra foresight but t10 GsH does not
-Blood Pact and Battalions being limited in AL-less PvP feels a bit rough while damage is plenty high in general and Jord + Pet Block + Pet Block Amities exist
For a less important point but still relevant:
-Final Decree is a good BoF weapon but held back by lack of Foresight 😂
