I have some items that are very old and I want to anguish them and max godforge them. I have all the appropriate tokens in game to insta-godforge and reroll the items anguish stats but I don’t know the exact order to use the items to maximize the items to get the most godforging possible

- Upgrade item to level 10
- Masterforge the item
- Use Demonworking Tools on that item
- Repeat steps 2-3 until item hits desired Anguish level
If you have (and want to use) Godmaking Tools, then you can use them on 1 piece of equipment at any time; it will automatically bring that item to your highest Anguish level as-is whether it's level 10, Master-, Demon-, or Godforged.
Otherwise, follow the steps and only Demonforge your Anguish gear if you don't intend to increase its Anguish level at all or any time soon, otherwise it's a waste of mats since Demonworking Tools always returns the item to level 10.
If you know you'll be increasing your Anguish levels in general, then it's best to save Godmaking Tools until you reach higher levels or a plateau, so to speak.
Pre-Anguish 2.0 gear that's 200% or you frequently use but already Godforged are the best candidates for Godmaking Tools.
