#Next mythology to add?

I don't think Catholicism or Christianity will be touched because they are the current, dominant religions IRL and there may be negative reception to their implementation alongside, well...other mythology. But I do want a Metatron raid boss just because it would sound cool 😅
In any case, Orna has implemented far more varied mythologies than any other game I can think of. We're usually fed the Greek and Norse stuff by most media.
And while not every mythos has a whole event themed around them (yet?), there are still references to them. We have Quetzalcoatl and Camazotz as Mesoamerican references and Vritra for Hindu, to use your examples.
something involving indigenous/native/First Nations people would be cool
We do have the four horsemen. I guess that's technically Christianity mythos lol
Modern days with gatlings tanks and 'copters coming from a time rift
I think because of partly that, Portuguese mythology is often ignored and unknown.
World Leaders would be nice. Like Putin or Netenyahu as Raid Bosses.
I would prefer to keep Politics away from orna.
Thats to put it politely tbh
Labor Day is fiercely political. If they're going to celebrate it next year we should be able to kill Pinkertons. If not, I'd rather them not celebrate it at all.
Yes! Give me a coyote NPC with a “choices matter” quest line, or a 2-Headed Bear where one head talks in the past and the other the future, or just the Thunderbird!
Though I do love learning about Chinese mythology as well
I need the Honkai monster from Japan, Chinese myth guai, journey to the West, there's a lot of monster to make.
There's also South East Asia monsters.
As a Chinese from South East Asia with friend from India, Hindu God are awesome too.
There's a lot of myth in India too.
And Aussie down South need some animal loves.
What about dinosaurs 🦖
Dinosaurs are mythology? 🤔 (not that it wouldn’t be fun too)
Quiet mention of the dumpster fire that is Smite, strange game, lots of cool playable characters directly pulled from mythology of all kinds
Didn't know that about the game. Might take a look just for that, thanks!
Yeah i remember loving learning about specifically chinese mythology there, because I knew so little at the time! But it has many different religious figures in there
If you enjoyed Chinese mythology you should check out Honor of Kings on the phone 😄
Oooo will do!
Norse gods are my all time favorite ngl, Smite specifically introduced me to Ratatoskr (my favorite norse god since) and i absolutely love learning new things from games. I think Orna WOULD benefit from introducing lesser known characters to the mix
Same. I love studying ancient history and mythology especially of lesser known deities, entities, and civilizations
Salish and native legends are close to home
Chinese myths and legends have also been fascinating to learn about as I learn the language
And while I’d say Age of Empires II is probably my favorite game, I love Age of Mythology for the culture clash
And of course I thoroughly enjoyed studying Norse and Greek mythology in school. And we got a little taste of Mesoamerican myths and legends too
Ive delved wayyyyy into the kool-aid sipping category of past civilizations.. im a sucker for that stuff aswell
If i can find it, there is an amazing documentary (unironically) about atlantis that i like to share, the point of it is to view the “idea” of life back then completely differently
I believe it. Life in general is pretty different in certain states in the US, let alone a whole other country
