Hi, i open this topic because im not happy of celestial class of gilga and Cd in my opinion is a little usless for basegilga and herc, I would like your opinion (and if is possible) very descriptive, on this class and cd!

IMO, herc is just fine being the extreme of ward> literally anything else. ursa is a bit weird as far as meta goes rn but it’s not bad, so long as celestials keep getting tweaked it should be fine. CD feels a bit odd atm as the options for building into it are very limited. I feel the best solution to this would just be increasing the pool of options for CD play. IMO something like CD adornments, celestial or not would go a long way in making CD more impactful. As of now options for building cd are meh but I feel that this just needs time to be expanded upon. Overall I feel gilga is in a much better place than it was previously and look forward to how CD and future meta gilga gear develops 🙂

For me gilga base and herc is not fine, and cd is pretty usless for Basagilga and Herc, because who play ss like me, this passive is not worth

I repeat for take more ward and dmg is not worth lost steadfeast and syphon

I gave gilgaU a shot. It was pretty underwhelming. In pvp where HP is huge, the ward decrease is just too much to make the hp valuable. Even tried with recharge amities to synergize with huge HP. Still kinda lame. Also tried a pumpkinless gear 2h blade of finesse spec swash build. Was OK. Not better than other classes ive used for pvp. For a pvp niche class I expected a bit better. Not many notes on the other 2

Herc and standard Gilga were fine before CD. The class is great at raiding, CS is really good for handling towers and Anguish horde. They did not need CD to be viable, and even so, without speccing into CD at all these classes still got around a 5% damage increase. I think a lot of players would put a lot of time into their character to pull out a 5% damage increase, so I don't think it can really be overstated how good this is. CD also helps immensely with horde dungeon, both for sweep builds and CS builds.

Ursa I rarely use, other than PVP Defense. But hopefully with more gear, amities, etc. CD will help non-SS builds thrive, which was the intended purpose.

CS is good for horde content yes, but Dorado, BeoH and Deity (even GSA) uses it better than Gilgas

Currently it's like when t10 classes was released and we unlock Beo just to use the gaits in other classes lol

Granted it's good on oth3r classes. I think it's good for horde on gilga. I think herc is good for raiding so it's not like it's a wasted unlock as a gilga

Up until the bof specs I hadn't used base gilga for anything since unlocking herc and Ursa. With parting remark, chained shield, and collateral damage base gilga is a beast for running boss horde anguish dungeons. I've raided almost exclusively with herc since getting adjusted to not having steadfast. I was using Ursa for horde sweep but the bof spec completely outclasses anything you can do with Ursa for horde play. Ursa still has some use for running towers with the right gear and a lot of Al's but it could really use a little boost.

I find CD to still be a bit underwhelming but i'm a pretty deep endgame gilga player and its important to understand that CD was not meant to buff where I am in the game or to improve spiked shield play. It was designed to give the warrior class line a much needed boost prior to unlocking spiked shield and prior to t10 in general. As more gear gets added to build into CD i'm optimistic that it will continue to serve that purpose.

I think both base gilga and herc are in a pretty good place but if Ursa is going to be anything more than a PvP defense class or a niche tower build it needs more unique identity. Playing into 2h I believe is the right direction but the amount of compromise needed to play 2h significantly outweighs the small boost the class passive provides.
