Hey, can't you see I'm trialing here?!

sand socket
#

I wonder what a trial is like?

upper solstice
#

I assume is a walk with party members?

#

All together walking

#

🤔

sand socket

I can be a monster!

I find it sad that if I go on a run with a smartwatch and without phone that those steps are not counted to orna steps 😕

sand socket
#

That would probably be because it uses the phone's pedometer

sand socket
#

That would definitely be something for the team to respond to

#

Now the real question is, does RoR work on Traveler's Trials?

It's still early, but has anyone won one?

Konq did!

(I didn't)

Regarding the new video posted by Purrley: I have some concerns regarding the fact that it seems like you can get Event monsters from the aspects

#

Specifically, I am concerned about Nocturna Fomorian Bosses

#

and their immunity to everything that isn't a follower/summon

#

But in general, the entire fomorian boss line could be incredibly problematic

#

both as the player's team, and as the opponent's team

#

Having a mostly invulnerable party would lead to some dull moments, as the enemy can't really "counterplay" you. I don't know if the monsters can have pets in the trials, but if they don't, the Nocturna bosses are quite literally invulnerable. Even if there are pets though, the Sumner/Wintara bosses would be immune to half the common damage types, while not being rapidly killed by their weakness, unlike nocturna/autumna

#

On the flipside, having one come up as an unexpected foe in the trial would probably just end your run then and there depending on your loadout and which house the enemy is

Blessed be the Northern Forge, for Ring of Restraint works on the trials!

Squeaked by 2 fight wins with a:
Lv. 2 Snake
Lv. 1 Goblin Lord
Lv. 1 Draconian Mage

Not sure how I would go about getting through (in my case) 12 Floors of fights without putting in a good number of weeks into getting more essences to try to get better monsters/bosses and level them up a bit.

Overall, 9/10.

Very excited to keep making progress each day. I like that it genuinely gets me to walk my steps each day.

Better physical health + get more monsters = 🤍

I anticipate in about a month, spending real good time designing a good team. Definitely not doable right away, like most things you first unlock in the game.

Seeing as fomorian bosses are there (on which I have the same concerns as john egbert) does it mean fallen crescent-fencer is also accessible? Him having sweep 2 would probably make it an instant bis

wide leaf
#

I want to believe petrified and debuffs are bis initially

#

Low tier mobs have no immunities

rocky iron
#

But those still have to be used on enemies one by one and have a chance to fail

#

Sweep 2 is unsplit aoe

#

The mage equivalent at least have the element split aoe spells

#

Also draconian era bosses

wide leaf
#

Fingers crossed we get good aspects when it's live and eventful eh

rocky iron
#

The problem is also playing against those

wide leaf

Perhaps it'll be a fun challenge

Some walks I don't get any "wild" aspects.

Any android people having luck getting steps to count? If so, what app(s) are you using? I'm currently trying Samsung Fit and it isn't working for me. I don't want to submit a ticket since there's already a bunch of bug reports on the same issue, instead I want to find something that does work

oak flume
# latent mirage Any android people having luck getting steps to count? If so, what app(s) are yo...

Samsung Galaxy S8, Android 9 with no issues since June 21. I currently only have the Fitbit app installed, which only updates based on my Fitbit watch's pedometer, rather than the phone.

I had Google Fit and Samsung Fit + Samsung Health installed at one point to try to fix it. Not sure what did it though.

Uninstalling Orna, Restarting Phone Reinstalling Orna, Restarting Phone again might have been the trick?

Not sure, let me check

#

Doesn't look like it, I'll try in a bit and see what happens

#

Doesn't appear to be working for me still, but I haven't been able to try much of the normal troubleshooting stuff

I really don't want to get google fit, might try samsung health though?

there is no need to have any health app. the traveler's guild uses your device's pedeometer
