Bench? A new kingdom option?

See kingdom menu. Bench size? How does this affect your kingdom? We now can opt off some members not participate wars/gauntlets? Sadly we don't have any manual about this, though! Anyway I'm very excited!

Chat is now transparent and can be minimized on screen

Its not loading atm but you'd see messages there

I keep refreshing the gauntlet and it hadn't selected a benched member yet

But the sample size is still very small

I'm still within 24 hours of joining the kingdom so I can't test the raid thing

so what's it actually do? i'd guess it's as if they left (no raids, gaunts, quests, wars), but dodges the 24h raid cd on unbench?

But can a king's alt be benched?

Looks like the answer to that is yes

So whenever the kingdom hits 24 hours old we can test whether benching prevents raiding

I keep shuffling gauntlets and it still hasn't shuffled in a benched player

Only done it 4 times though

It will prevent raiding, yes. But it is still slightly incomplete

(same as chat: this beta build includes some of our other ongoing projects)

I used to always be benched. Only matched in bigger wars. Now I get matched in them all

Also a nice feature if someone isn't responding in chat but keeps doing things he/she isn't supposed to do, now you can bench instead of immediately kick

Benching should be a permission, and then players with permission should be able to bench / unbench themselves.

Mainly it is the permission element that is a clearly lacking
