Not exactly a beta bug but I’m unable to update my beta client on iOS, test flight doesn’t show any new builds but I’m still using the previous 3.4.8 client
Hiya - this is currently an android beta (per the links on the initial post).
If you had the old beta client on iOS, it'll work fine as these are all server side updates, but there is not a new test flight client.

Pvp ward ~doubled in beta?
Something weird might be going on with the GS hydrus passive. We are getting different numbers for it at different ascension levels with BP. I'm getting about a 74% increase from maxing the passive at al38, however @spare dome at al17 was getting 86%. @smoky adder at al31 was getting 78%. Akabane at al0 got a 100% increase from it. It seems the higher ascension level you are, the less benefit you gain from it, at least with BP.

Was doing boss horde dungeon and a gilga survived with 1hp. Now everytime I try to attack, the turn cancel itself and nothing happens ("Reconnecting...").

Seems like disabling gps turns off the tower type change but enables to enter the tower
Tower keys display 0 when in a tower entry point but in inventory there were 5002. Purchasing 1 tower key at the tower screen updated the number of keys displayed in that screen to 5003 allowing the tower to be accessed.
I don't know if we are supposed to buy multiple time the same pet but it is possible.

Bug description: Every time the app is reset the game asks for permission to view my steps. Clicking the button does not prompt the window that asks to confirm that I’d like to authorize that and the Settings app still shows the beta app as having permission to access that data. However, no steps seem to sync to the traveler’s guild menu

More context: this only seems to happen on characters that already existed in previous betas. Created a new character from scratch and it immediately started counting steps

Looking at it a bit more still, I think something with my UI hadn't yet updated so I was stuck with parts of the pervious version while still being able to interact with the current version. My UI is now correct.

Not working for me. Tried it with Orna running in the background, then when that didn't work I downloaded Samsung Health to see if that would work.
Samsung health is picking up the steps when running in the background, but Orna is not.

this looks good. health apps often use their own magic for steps (we're just using pedometer for now)

I had the beta client and health app in background all day , walked about 16k steps but it didn‘t count ingame , still says 0steps

That screen refreshes every 30s or so. Closing and reopening the screen might be fastest for testing
I've closed and reopened the app and had no steps update, but walking around with the app open seems to pull the missing steps.
Plus whatever you just did with the app open.
For example I walked across the room, closed and reopened the app, and the steps are the same, but if I walk a couple steps with the app open it'll update with the missing steps.
that sounds correct, I believe. Step data can come from the sensor in waves

the problem is due to the app being recycled before the traveler's guild is accessed. pending update will remove the need to open traveler guild menu to sync steps
I have a vivosmart 5 and it tracked 11k steps today and the beta only acknowledged around 6k
Hi! Walked a bit with traveller's guild open, and game shuts down. Not counting steps at all, with or without step tracking app. Physical activity permission granted. Android 11 , miui 12.5.5 . Beta version 3.6.5
Now it worked for a few thousand steps but not for all.
I reopened it some times over the day to prevent the auto shut down.
But my aspect doesn’t count any step, i gained about 4000steps after slotting the aspect but it’s counter still says 0

I was able to use the travelers guild with the previous beta version, however with the latest beta, Although I have walked it still says 0 steps and causes my app to crash a little after I open the travelers guild screen, (when steps try to update)... Don't even need that screen open. It will crash if you walk at all.

Yesterday physical activity was working fine, today 0 steps. What are the requirements for them to start again? Open the game before the walk? Do I need to visit the guild each day?

steps do not count. also, anguish guild - no guild exp, no proofs - no matter what I kill - maybe it is because I am T11, while bosses are T10? Anguish lvl is set to 1 and I can see this in fight screen

You will need to ensure the boss is also T10 to get anguish rewards. Currently, T10 appears to be working
so the bonus only applies to your level tier range? like, I can't be a tier 1 mage at level 240 and get the bonus, right?

Traveler's screen asks for physical activity permission when it already has it.
In 2.6.8 beta, I'm noticing step quests don't get the benefits of step tracking the same way traveler's guild does. My quest only has 31 steps while my guild has 588 today alone.
The "travel by foot" quest iirc consider the distance you do by gps only, while the guild takes from the pedometer
So if you are walking on a tapis roulant only the pedometer is gonna count steps for example
I tried this with a few raids. And I am unable to break the limit. Even without t.akk+++ I had reached the limit, but even with these augments and that buff, it's not going over.

Traveler's Guild keeps asking for permissions after accepting. I accept the permissions and the button disappears, but it returns after restarting. Additionally, steps are still not being counted.
I have also checked the permissions through my phone settings, and it appears that all permissions are granted through that.

Oversight: You can find Kingdom Curency while in Deep dungeon while not in a kngdom. It doesnt do anything when clicked, but may confuse new players.
I shortly later found an Orns pile I cant click. I assume its K.Orns. This is VERY confusing expecially for a new player since they share the same graphic.

Did a little bit more digging that may provide some info. The account is in a party with an alt of mine who is in a kingdom, but the dungeon was done solo and the other account didnt join.
Update: So I was curious and swapped to the alt that was in a kingdom. He could join the dungeon even though I didnt make it a party dungeon. That account did find KGold/Orns however they were in a diffrent location
I broke something again:
- I was playing around and noticed it was letting me build OT exculsive buildings at my work (built a keep and GM on Mirrior of Delois). Not sure what enabled me to do this but I restarted the app and I can still build OT buildings and built the Cidial at my workplace. I then noticed I am no longer able to use the 'Teleport to OT' button, I think it now thinks my work is my OT now... I used an alt to confirm that my WV is still at its home location. I shouldnt of been able to move my OT since I moved it this morning to my home to test the guilds.
Will test when I get off work: Does return to OT take me to my work or my home which is where my OT should be....
UPDATE: After a few min the 'reutrn to OT' button returned and I could no longer build OT buildings again. However they are still built and my Beta OT is now split between 2 locations xD I have videos of this happening and will post them once the mobile client lets me see this channel ><.

Update on the OT glitch from yesterday.
Logged in today after doing nothing most of today at my work (not OT location). Noticed it allowed the building of OT exclusive buildings again.
After a few switches between alts and doing things to 'update' the UI trying to get the teleprt to OT button to appear again, it stopped letting me build OT buildings in about 3m and then the Teleport to OT button appeared 5m later.
Edit: definitely feels like something is wacky with OT's. Just made a new alt and made an OT at work and didn't get the OT buildings for a while.
Edit2 I've been able to do this on a few alts now. Not consistently but a few.
In Blade of Finesse live pvp, multihit skills and spells are not calculating correctly. Looks to be halved.

Not enough switches on the floor to complete the objective. Also the floor feels really really small (3 rooms + entrance and exit room) whereas there used to be floors with ~8+ rooms so maybe that's the issue here?

Context/Supporting information: happened 5-6 times over the completion of a goblin fort. The camera would snap back to the room were the character is stuck mining after a few seconds. Couldn't find a way to reproduce so no video. Picking up currency bundles during the mining makes this mlre likely?

Can't really post evidence, but since I switch to public beta client, the long press buttons trigger the vibration too soon.

The build button is only on the top left when you're at your origin town either way
Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but Bag of Tricks doesn't work. Just shows as "Defend" when loaded, and doesn't do any of its trickery.
Bag of Tricks does not have an off-hand ability, so Defend would be the correct action there.
Its effects are automatically added to all attacks and skills

Impossible to enter a goblin dungeon : when I long press enter, screen turns black with displacement UI. After a few seconds I'm back out. Dungeon is not in cooldown but I lost a key.

Buying spellsword from omnimancy line switched my to valor line

It seems that switching ( including unlocking) any dual path class switches your current Path tree menu to the left path icon that the dual path class has. (warriors wont notice this issue probably, while it happens to theifs every time)
Weaved Elements doesn't persist between dungeon floors
Special classes reference deprecated classes instead of the new ones. Passive ability order inconsistent with all other classes.
Heretic (and celestials) have wildly different base stats compared to live, gaining around 1k hp, losing around 1k mana, gaining ~200 attack and losing ~400 mag

Thx for the new Hydrus souls counter. Unfortunately it doesn't visually count. Stats seem to increase nevertheless.
same..kinda; sac pact, blood pact, defeated by enemy, the souls counter appears on first summon death, but always displays 0%...until suddently 100% at 10 deaths
same after completing floor 1 its just infinite loading to floor two, restart game enter dungeon and its just black screen. happens both with menu and castle endless dungeon. tested on GSH and Dorado, happens on both.

Trying to progress to the 2nd floor of a dungeon consistently hangs the app. Resetting and trying to reenter results in a black screen.

Yeah it's a little confusing, Bastille I is 50%, Bastille II is 60%, referring to the stats boost and I think that the D.ara passive goes to 150%, maybe it could be harmonized to be clear (all passives = 0-100% activation or all passives = % stat boost)

All 3 versions of Deity on beta are charging their Apex after an enemy takes a turn regardless of if they've dealt damage to you or not. Tested it a fair bit in PvP and Summoner's Summons all charged Apex. Realmshifter's Avidity extra turns kept charging Apex.
This is kind of cool if not a bug but I was not charging on any of my turns if not dealing damage so I assumed it was a bug
Apex should charge at least a small amount for every turn the deity is involved in (be it target or actor)

100% agree with this. A small charge to help get an Apex spell off in case you get stuck in a defensive loop trying to not die and need one to break the cycle!
Brand new phone (Pixel 8 pro). Beta installed. App seems to hard hang/freeze on full zoom out, resulting in an android "Orna isn't responding" modal. I will try later in a place where there aren't so many WRBs but I don't think that's the issue; it occurs even when WRB layer is turned off. Did not happen on regular build/old phone.
pixel 8s are terrible choice for gaming it turns out, many games don't work at all on them or crash contantly, not an Orna issue.
Definitely - unless Google can address these issues via software update, I would reconsider the Pixel 8 if gaming is a priority
I have a Samsung a15 that says Orna keeps crashing but I've never seen it crash even once 😂 whereas on my iPhone 15 the game constantly just froze, black screened and/or restarted

Well, it's a repeatable heuristic -- it's not random hangs or a perf problem per se. It is one specific function that causes the issue in a reproducible manner. I'll dig into it more on my end and see if there's a workaround.

The “App is not responding” modal is indeed the result of a performance issue. It shows when an app is not responding within a set threshold of time, thus Android kills the app to maintain resources for the rest of the device
The Tensor chips are designed for AI and will have issues when the GPU is pushed, much like zooming out in Orna will do

do you really need flagship hardware to run a game like orna tho? It might be bad for a high end phone but I feel like those high end phones already massively overkill for a game like orna. His pixel 8 is still much more powerful than my xiaomi mi 9t that doesnt have the issue of orna becoming non responsive
no you don't, the game runs very well on pixel 6/7, its just the 8 SoC sucks for non ai/camera stuff.

ok so part of the bug: switch classes or characters sometimes temporarily grants you their passive(or more accurately their passive is not deactivated quickly), you could be useful in explaining how to replicate it/how common it is , so it can actually get fixed.
~~Resurgence II caps at 10% HP rather than 1% HP, and does not show as scaling further beyond 10% HP.
This behavior is different than what was described specifically during previous betas, and no patch notes have mentioned changes to Resurgence, so I would assume this is a bug.~~
After testing and verification I can fairly safely confirm that the bug here is the activation % being 'stuck' at 100%, when stats do in fact scale further down to 1hp.
This appears to be inconsistent with the behavior noted above.
