So at @rotund hawk 's request, let's make an Italian dinner. A vegan one, no less.

We're going to start by pan sauteing some sliced zucchini. Use a capful or two of olive oil, any more will make em soggy.

Next we're going to add to the pan: onions, peppers, mushrooms, and minced garlic, along with some salt and pepper

Dice some tomatoes and keep them aside... we'll need them in a minute or so

I don't often make my own sauce, but I did for this particular recipe

Let's make...
Shepherd's Pie
Now, ordinary shepherds pie is made with three key ingredients:
• beef (or pork)
• potatoes
• corn
But this is EXTRAordinary shepherds pie! So we're using peas instead of corn, and sweet potatoes instead of boring potatoes....

Okay so you've got beef & tubers.
As you shimmer-simmer the beef, you'll notice the fat start to render. No big deal, we'll drain that once it's almost fully cooked. But let's prepare some seasonings now:
Salt & pepper, plus these
↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓

Once the beef is cooked & drained, throw those spices on and add a cup of water. The water will evaporate but it'll help the seasonings bind to the meat (and rehydrate the onion)
BUT! Don't forget the sweet potatoes! Set your time machine to 45 minutes ago, wrap those taters in foil and pop em in the oven at 425°F.
Some people make mashed potatoes or mashed sweet potatoes by peeling, chopping and boiling them. But that adds a lot of water content and dilutes the taste and POWER of the Spud. By baking them, we lock in both the flavor and the nutrients.

Once those are done, dust off your wolverine claws and start tearing them apart. Add some butter for good luck.

That is all done in a 13x9 Pyrex dish, which will be the vessel for our mighty creation. As the meat continues to simmer and blend its flavors, layer the peas on top of the sweet potatoes, and throw the Pyrex in the oven for about 5 minutes, just enough to warm up the peas.

Finally, layer the meat on top of the peas and throw it in the oven for another 5 minutes. That's all it takes!

Meanwhile, dice up your onions & beef, and do a lil shimmer-simmer until the beef is rare-seared

Oh and we're adding in some dumplings. Because we can. Mix eggs, flour and salt.

Knead until mixed, then roll into meatball-sized portions

Once the beef is done, we're going to add it to our vegetables, which have been boiling for about 20 minutes in a 16-quart (or larger) stockpot

Then, after freezing the dumplings for a bit, add them too. Take them out once they're done.

Aaaaaand HUZZAH!! Beef stew with dumplings! That's your protein, starch, and vegetables, all in one!

Broccoli cheese sausage mac!!

Start cooking the macaroni as normal, and chop the broccoli, then set to steam. Slice the sausage and put aside until the macaroni is almost done boiling...

...then add the sausage (previously grilled) to the macaroni to add heat to it!

Drain, mix in the broccoli, add the cheese packet, and mix with plain yogurt because it's lower fat and adds more flavor! Don't forget to season to taste: I added a bit of pepper and garlic salt.

And HUZZAH! You fed your family!!

For dessert, let's have something light. How about...berries and cream! Specifically, full-fat coconut milk, because it hardens on frozen berries.

250g Chicken is seasoned with
1 tsp smoked Paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp salt & pepper
1/2 lemon
2 tbsp tomato paste
Cook in a frying pan with oil till it goes slightly black

Garlic sauce
3 tbsp greek yoghurt
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 lemon juice

Chips (i cut them in a slicer then wet them n dry them in a towel)
Seasoned with
1 tsp cornstarch or cornflour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp of black pepper
Add salt at the end of cooking
I cook my chips in the air-fryer with oil spray till they are crispy

To assemble
Put sauce on a wrap then chicken then chips then pickles (if you don’t like pickles I just use a cucumber n slice them up) and thats it!! You have your chicken shawarma!
