Yeah, I getcha. After playing it twice, I think I have a better feel. Somehow I managed to miss that two activities causes the next day, so I talked, bought the shirt, talked and that was it.

Yeah, it's cute. More content would definitely make it more enjoyable, but I liked the ending cutscene. It does give the feeling of a story in the full game.

I think the main thing is to always try and make sure the demo is fully representative of the actual game. Removing quality of life features or allowing polish to slip for a demo isn't likely to convert people to full-game players.

I don't mind the starting items, but those HTML5 bugs are a little rough, but I think the only one that really bugged me is that the shop/item arrows overlap with the leave shop/items button, so you can want to go to the next item, but close the menu instead. Also the left/right arrows are not the natural interaction. Even knowing full well about the arrows, I would still try clicking on the item expecting that item to be selected.
