Charles was hired bc everybdoy in school thought he was a nerd and him ever getting to fly a helicopter for the military was crazy but he did not care and he would keep trying until it was the final exam not many people were able to do it but Charles, he aced it Charles continued on into college before dropping out to join the military airforce.
He practiced and practiced until he was a master at flying a helicopter. Back in high school Henry was his good friend and although he was an mayhem-making boi, the military decided to use Henry's friendship with Charles and his skill of escaping prison and stealing a diamond, they put him on a mission with Charles as back up, to infiltrate the airship
After that, they didn't meet for a while as Henry was sent to the wall. Although it was no where near planned, Charles was close, so Henry called for help. Charles would've never done it if Henry wasn't his friend but as he was, he said he'll drop in and help
