I've always seen the fails as like, separate universes or what have you, but are not as solid/canon as the endings because of the lack of conclusiveness. The existence of the fails to me is still as valid as multiple endings, but I guess they carry less 'weight'
It's hard finding the exact words but like I guess I'm saying the endings are more story-significant than the fails, but the fails are still to be acknowledged
I might be talking out of my butt here but I think Puff mentioned that the canonicity of fails didn't matter because other than TB and R, Henry dying (or lack thereof) isn't that conclusive when viewed as a story from beginning to end

Dr. Vinschpinsilstien contacts the goverment about what she discovered and the goverment are like we could give him another chance to help us take down the toppats so galeforce sends charles but he is to late henry goes and gets revenge after he oofs charles finds him and takes him back to dr vinschpinsilstien. At the hospital henry awakens and apoligizes to charles they all make up and forgive. But then after that henry slips back into a coma and dies. I think there was a fan comic about this except for the final part i wrote
