that's not a great solution at all and that would actually be illegal in some sort of ways i can imagine. what innersloth needs to do is that if they can go in and find out if people are leaving on purpose or if they are actually getting dc'd. then the people who leaves the game on purpose will be IP banned forever for all eternity and there's no appealing it. that is the best solution to all of this. but they won't. no game company will ever do such things that would hurt their player base even if it would be better for the community overall. money > morality has always been a thing sadly.

Also I found a new glitch i wanna report. basically the kill cooldown was set to 22.5s and i never changed it. then i got imposter and the kill cooldown was 10 seconds. after the first meeting it was back to 22.5s.

Would be really cool to at least have more options, like at the very least customize the dummies.

Name: Parasite, and Patient.

The Parasite is an Impostor-sided role that can choose their partner, as their patient.
The Patient now has to work and win with the Impostor. These roles are NOT available when the lobby is set to 3 Impostors for... Obvious reasons.
There can only be 1 Patient, and said patient has a higher kill cooldown, and can't sabotage (Somewhat of a nerfed impostor).

The higher cooldown is just 5 extra seconds added from the original Impostor's cooldown (Example, Imp KC is 25s, Patient´s KC would be 30s)

What you are proposing here is very similar to the Cultist in Stellar Roles. When the game decides to spawn a Cultist it spawns 1 less impostor into the game (so if you set the game to 2 imps there will be only 1 cultist and if it is set to 3 imps there will be only 1 cultist and the other imp role). The cultist does not have the ability to kill at the start of the game and must first select a player to recruit in order to gain the kill ability, turning them into the follower.

The cultist and follower combined are vanilla impostors with the following buffs that enable extreme coordination:
Imp chat during the round.
Task style arrow that points at your partner.
A red kill flash when your partner kills.

I have made clever plays with Phantom but they are few and far between. Usually phantom is a vanilla imposter with an additional "reveal I am imposter" button.

Shapeshifter suffers a similar problem btw but shapeshifter gets a huge upside in exchange for "disappearing"

Guys so I play the game on my iPhone. For a little over a week now it has been stuck on the loading screen then it gives me an option to play offline. Since online is not working I tried to press offline and it just goes back to loading. I’ve deleted the games data from my phone and iCloud and deleted the game, reinstalling many times. Any advice ? Larger map means hiders are more spread out and seeker has to actually try. Hider tasks are spread all over the map as well meaning there is a greater risk/reward pull to doing the tasks.

Hiders can meaningfully use the meter to deduce the seeker's position.

Unless you perfectly know your partner's playstyle and what their goals are you should not touch any sabotages. The living imp knows what they want to achieve and the angle they are going to try to pull the 1vX off from.

These are 2 very different angles that call for very different style of sabotages to get crew into the desired positions.

It doesn't matter. If you partner wants angle A but you as dead imp sab for angle B you are forcing your partner to steer into a plan they don't want to go for.

Fun fact: I've experimented with GA to try to make it fair. I gave it the longest possible shield cd, the shortest possible shield, and made the shield visible to the imps. I still found GA to be too strong in this state.

And I got kicked immediately

Let's say the imposter role is called 'Chemist'. The Chemist can kill like the other imposters but they can also poison someone by walking up to someone and click 'poison'. When a body is reported or a meeting is called, the crewmate who got poisoned will be marked with a red circle. Everyone will then know that you have been poisoned. You can't save the person but you can at least try to figure out who The Chemist is by remembering who has been next to you. The further into the game with less people the easier it gets figuring out who The chemist is.
