Just started the game. The Zombiepedia is amazing! However, at first I was a little confused what is the difference between money and experience is for. A quick note somewhere would be great! Also, what is the difference between the blue and red and yellow "gems?" - just different amount of money value?

Correct me if I am wrong. From what I remember, money is more of the exp to level up the main account which led you to upgrade the base Stat. The experience in-game or the "stage" is the experience gem (blue, red, yellow gems which had different exp value) you collected after you defeated the zombie which valid for that stage only.

Hey! These are things we'll be adding to the upcoming Survival Guide, which you'll be able to access from both the main menu and the pause menu. The Guide will hopefully be included in the next, 0.7 update (after the upcoming beta).

In a nutshell, money translates directly into skill points on your skill tree, while experience is your level when you play a run (and is reset every game). Exp gem colors symbolize the different amounts of experience points they grant.
