So, I bought a new gecko recently and he has just arrived.

From the looks of it, it seems he is missing parts of his toes on his hind feet. He also has a bit of stuck shed on his front feet. I'm honestly so sad because I've only ever had good experiences with this breeder in the past and it wasnt mentioned in the listing so it came as a shock:(

I'm wondering if there is any extra care a gecko like this needs. Its not the whole toes missing, it looks like its just the front bit with the claws. Also, I just soaked some moss for the wet hide this morning and have sprayed down the tank. Is there anything else I can do without immideatly stressing the hell out of him to get the stuck shed on his front paws off? Thank you in advance

stuck shed restricting bloodflow like wrapping around the toes is going to need intervention even if it will be stressful

geckos missing toes dont need any special care, they may sometimes be weird about digging if you give them loose substrate or take a little more time to get used to new textures but theyre not all that different from a regular leo and their mobility isnt affected whatsoever
