She used to be tong fed all the time! but maybe I clanked it against the glass too many times and spooked her. Now she does not entertain tong feeding, even if there’s a juicy bug. But as soon as it drops on the floor, she’ll eat it.
It’s worrying because that means all she can eat is mealworms, because crickets are too fast for her and roaches are hard to find in canada. I’m going to try buying clear tongs if that exists. Has this ever happened to you?

you can try bowl feeding! one of mine refused tongs for a good 6 months cus she got bored of it 😭
eventually she picked it back up and we're fine now! but i also bowl feed them still!
for crickets i just put em in the fridge for like 15 mins and then take their back legs off
they can't get out of the bowls that way but they can still scurry around it
and then any sort of worm can go in an escape proof bowl C:

Annnnnd an isopod breeder i've used before has discoid roaches for sale which you could grab to start your own colony to have as feeders!
