My girl who usually produces eggs at this time is quite the swollen abdomen mostly lower though I’m having a hard seen seeing eggs clearly she hasn’t have had much of a appetite recently and looks to be dehydrated as well any solutions

#

I’m just really worried this girl never refuses food

#

And her tail has never been so smaller

I'm not a TA but first glace this looks really concerning and id try to get a vet if at all possible

I don’t have a local vet I’d have to make a trip

#

Yet alone they probably aren’t open at this time

#

She usually has eggs round this time of year

#

I don’t know enough about leopard gecko anatomy to know if those are gigs or not

ill hold off on saying anything for 100% because I dont have experience with leopard geckos and eggs but NQA IF it really is a case of being eggbound and losing weight, you could possibly need draining/surgery, or even just syringe feeding under their instructions - which is why a vet is so important

#

hopefully someone else has more help they can provide 🙏 id really try to make that appointment though

Well I am trying to make her body Kylie bit warmer because it assist in passing stuff and nighttime wouldn’t do much for her. It won’t be days till I can I’m gonna jog to do the best I can

<@&445614210316238868> can probably help identify if those are eggs or not and give better suggestions.

Ok

but in situations like this, a vet trip is going to be what is recommended if they cant give an answer

But yea definitely quite concerning she’s never had issues passing eggs and she does makes eggs every year, she isn’t interested in eating, she is having discomfort on her sides given what I’ve seen. I’ll try my best to get her to drink water.

#

Yea I’ll have to figure something out because this is a bit scary

#

She just look uncomfortable too

unfortunately both are probably asleep right now. one is est and the other is uk. i would just keep her as comfortable as possible for now until one wakes up. if lights are on, keep it warm and dont handle her anymore

It’s night here too I did turn them on to try to encourage laying but I don’t want to news with their day and night rhythm

personally i wouldnt mess with their rhythm bc i think (?) that can cause issues with digestion and such. nothing much if its just a few hours but i know my whole body feels out of wack when i dont get enough sleep 😅

Okay guys this is a morning update

#

I think she passed some

#

Her tail is looking so much better

#

Or well passed one

#

Her stomach isn’t as extended as last night

#

I did go ahead and give her a optional heat pad she can sit on during the night I I feel like that really helped

#

Perhaps she hasn’t yet I’m not sure I can’t find a fresh egg

She does look very eggy from the first pic. If you can't find a vet focus on keeping her as hydrated as possible, light misting the enclosure will help.

Yea she is definitely become one less dehydrated from last night she’s has had two warm soaks with calcium and I’m keeping her habitat a bit more humid

#

With some misting and I powered water throughout the substrate

#

Added more places to drink too
