So when I take my gecko out I generally just put her either on my laptop/lap or I let her wonder around my plant pots that are generally sort of empty with a bit of grass and flowers. Obviously I keep an eye on her and almost always sit next to the pot with a YouTube video on but I’m worried if the soil or maybe the possible bugs could hurt her or if it’s something to worry about
#Is it bad to let my Leo wonder in my plants!

personally i wouldn't. there's risk of bugs, pesticides, and toxic plants
fertilizer and manure as well in pots
in my opinion its just too much risk with no benefit
I'd just give more enrichment in their tank if that's something that they're lacking instead of taking them outside
There’s no risk of pesticides I don’t think because I’ve grown the stuff myself and only use the seeds and the soil and also leopard geckos don’t eat plants so I guess I assumed that would be a safe bet of no harmful plants? Please correct me if I’m wrong tho!
Leopard geckos still very much can bite plants!
you should keep in mind leos tend to lick everything in their environment, and I can see the soil there has fertilizer balls- and theres still the risk of bugs
its best to keep your animals indoor
Also given that your little one is an albino- you have to be super conscious about the sun and the amount of uvi they’re receiving outdoors. Its a lot lot more than what we provide inside with our uvb bulbs. Just to be safe and not possibly burn the little one if not for all the other reasons and just that one I would not bring them outside
Also probably doesn’t feel good on their eyes since albino
