Hey, im new to this chat and want to talk about something that i found on my (male) gecko. I dont know if its shedded skin that got stuck on him but when i tried to take it off, he seemed kind of resistant and didnt want me to take it off like if he was in some sort of pain. I dont know if this is something i should worry about or leave alone. Btw, its that little string near his genitals. Thanks!

it does look like stuck shed. his discomfort around you taking it off could be because a portion of it is stuck in the entrance, or simply because removing stuck shed is stressful on its own.
i would try again by getting him into a warm sauna and rolling it off with a qtip
if you cant get it off yourself, id see a vet
