are you absolutely sure shes brumating? or is she simply just hiding more often?
its normal for leos to slow down during winter and eat less, but that doesnt necessarily mean theyre brumating
I’m not 100% sure she’s brumating but she’s not left her humid hide at all for 2 weeks and not eaten a single thing. I posted on here a while back asking about it and people suggested she was. Now I’m unsure?
well they do sometimes get up and walk around even when theyre brumating, so id call it normal. as long as youre sure.
i usually take the opportunity to do health checks
I got her out to weight her the other day and she was not happy. Immediately went back in her humid hide when I put her back in. Just unsure whether she wants feeding. She always has a bowl of mealworm in there and calcium and water but she prefers crickets but don’t want to put them in there with her if she’s not going to eat them.
