Hi all,

I am still doing lot of research and find lots of different information on how to maintain a bioactive terrarium. As far as I understand you occaissionaly have to clean remaining poops, giving water to substrate/plants, and add some new substrate and food for the CUC.

My question: How often do you add new substrate to the terrarium and should I buy a tool to messure the PH values weekly/monthly/yearly.

you don’t have to switch out your substrate in a bioactive enclosure

#

you might want to take out the hides, wood and stuff like once a year or something to thoroughly clean them or something nqa

Okay that sounds promissing. I read about changing the moss in the moisture hide place once in two months?
