I know alot of people free roam their reptiles for a certain time under supervision, is this something that is good for the gecko or does it just make them stressed? if it is something that is good for them then how would i go about making sure the space is safe for them to free roam

for a leo its pretty stressful. big open area, lots of places to get stuck.

what ive seen people do however, is set up a playpen.

basically just a secluded area that has ramps and hides for the leo to romp around in for about 20 minutes before they go back into the tank
