As the title suggests I have questions and need guidance on quarantining especially with having a bioactive as my primary enclosure. Would I just order another tank for the first few months? Or can I watch them and quarantine in the bio? They will be the only reptile in the enclosure and our house.
We aren't going to get our lizard for a month or two so we have plenty of time and the ability to set up another tank, but if that isn't needed / recommended I'd prefer to not have to. We spared no expense on the main tank and I know I would end up doing the same for the temporary 🤣
We have an exotic vet near us that we'll coordinate an appointment with as close to getting them as we can to hopefully get them checked over and a baseline established for their health. I am slowly getting everything figured out for once we have the gecko but have completely overlooked quarantine.
