an adult leo can be fine without food for a week! nqa
adults only need to feed once or twice a week
so necessarily i wouldn’t say you have to, you could feed before you leave nqa

Seconding ven, also if you are getting a food fish make sure it's unescapble and that you aren't keeping anything that can bite the leo inside it just incase or anything that can hop on out like crickets, dubias (yes dubias can escape if the depth isn't enough) and so on. NQA
