okay so, my leopard geckos enclosure is placed inside of my room, but every 6-8 months (very delayed cleaning), i clean my floors with chemicals typically but they usually smell or have a strong odor when used. (ex. pinesol). can i still use that with my leopard gecko removed from the room while it’s being used? or would it still bother him? could i use something else that like removes odor from floors that doesn’t have a weird scent and won’t affect my leopard gecko?

iirc the smelly stuff in pine sol are the same sort of phenols we avoid when not using pine or cedar in an enclosure

it can cause irritation of the respiratory system and other delicate tissues. i'd close off the gecko room and ventilate your house on cleaning day
