Hi friends, Demo is 2 years old. I noticed today that the area on the side of his mouth seems slightly off, almost like his lip is slightly in a different resting position. This is on his right side of his mouth (or the left in the pics). I’m not sure if something specific happened when he ate Mealworms yesterday, but I’m wondering what everybody thinks is going on (if anything at all). I’ve seen some Reddit posts slightly similar and I am concerned it might be mouth rot, so depending on your QA I will make a vet appointment ASAP. Thanks!

I have not tong fed in a couple of months, but Demo does eat Mealworms out of a small feeder bowl these days. It is potentially possible that he accidentally bit down on the bowl

nqa it does look like he bit something and hurt his lip. i see this specific type of injury when leos bite down on metal tongs too hard and too often (had it happen to mine once)

you can always check the mouth to see if there are anymore lesions inside, but i would just monitor this little spot if you dont see anything else
