Zesty is in a 20 gallon and I wanted to know would this be enough lighting/UVB. The wattage for light is 75W and the IVB a 10.0 mini compact bulb. A picture of the product is also included!

nqa so definitely dont buy that one lol

#

youre gonna want your uvb and heatbulb in separate fixtures

#

for uvb, you dont want a compact bulb

a linear one will give much better and safer levels of output.

#

if youre able to order online, heres the shopping list vv

QA To add the 10.0 is way too strong for a Leo! The number is basically a percentage of UVB rays. 10.0 is 10%. When Leo’s are outside, they’re usually out during the evening and early morning when the UVB rays are very low. The preferred UVI (UV Index) for a Leo is between 0.5-1.5. A 10.0 UVB bulb will create a UVI that is more like a midday Sun, which has a much higher UVI.

A better bulb option is the Arcadia ShadeDweller or the ReptiSun T5HO 5.0

adding onto what moo said, choosing a UVB is dependant on a few things just as a heads up!

#

Distance from the middle of the bulb to the basking spot / floor (or height of the tank) and the tank's lid mesh are two big factors in choosing what bulb to go with!

#

Not every tank is equal and those two things mess with UVI !
