Haku is a 4 year old gecko. She NEVER ate so many worms in one sitting in her whole life. She was actually coming out of her hide towards the tongs and was like perky and excited. I know that all sounds like good, but it’s not normal for her to eat so much? I cut her off at 31 but I’m sure she could have eaten many more. I’m gonna post a video of her eating so you can see the size of the worms. Maybe they’re small for her size and that’s why she ate so many? They were dusted with calcium without D3.
EDIT: she used to eat around 20-23 per feeding when she was younger (like 1y/o-2y/o). Then she stopped eating worms all together. I did just reintroduce them to her. She had a big appetite when she was younger. I think maybe because I fixed her heating she feels more comfortable to eat more again?
