Howdy!

I’ve noticed that whenever I put my hand in my leo’s tank, waiting for her to step on it, she behaves strangely. I put my hand in, and she pokes her head out, seemingly interested. She might lick my finger, or put one foot on my finger, but after that she will stand still for 10 minutes and shut her eyes. She stays in the exact same position, usually hovering her head just over my hand, and when I move a finger she opens an eye.

She will do this for 10+ minutes, so I am just waiting while my arm is going numb. It’s strange since she seems interested, but just stands completely still, closes her eyes, and doesn’t come out.

Anyone got any ideas as to why she does this?

Oh I wanna know my guy does this too and I lowkey just think he's sleeping 🤷‍♂️

It’s so annoying, like my entire arm is just going numb while i’m waiting for her to wake up 😭
