#Shedding?

Can you send a normal picture?
that’s the best one i can get. she’s in her moist hide right now which she never goes in, so i’m thinking she might be shedding
her tail is looking quite scaly and her skin is quite wrinkled
i’m not sure, because this is the first time i have seen her shed
You don't have other photos?
Its easier to compare as when they go into shed they get dusty
if her skin is looking dull she is probably about to shed, especially if they loose their appetite a little bit
i’ll see if i have a normal one
nqa
yeah she has gone off her locusts recently
how soon after they shed should their appetite come back?
Lose of appetite doesn't necessarily mean shedding nor does going into the Moist hide. Nqa
It depends on the gecko
so yeah she very well may be about to shed. it’s nothing to worry about, don’t touch her for a few days after she sheds, but make sure you look closely for stuck shed nqa
that’s true but if she looks dull yk
that’s the slight issue, i haven’t handled her yet so what should i do if i happen to find stuck shed
i don’t even know how to go about getting her out of the tank in the case that any shed is still stuck, i really don’t wanna stress her out
try soaking in warm water for 10-15 minutes, if it doesn’t come off go to a vet
Again, health over stress.
It'll be stressful no matter what but it's better then loosing tips of things or infections nqa
If there is stuck shed you can do a sauna
i do keep her tank quite humid for part of the day, if i remember correctly that should decrease the chances of stuck shed compared to a dry environment?
