Looks beautiful, I love what you did with the fake plants!
My only suggestion (based on what I can see) would be linear UVB, like the arcadia shadedweller. Deeper substrate for digging would be nice too, but if there's no live plants the amount you have now its probably fine. Is there a water dish?
yes the water dish is on the right its hard to see
by the green dish
is a uvb light still needed if i supplement calcium with and without d3? and multivitamins?
It's not a strict requirement but highly recommended! Especially since leos live such a long time
If you have the means to get some UVB going, that'd be my only suggestion. There's some links in the shopping list to appropriate kits if that is helpful
ill look into it! i asked my parents a while back if i could get one and they pulled the "she will live" card but i can try again
If it helps to convince them, UVB simplifies your supplement schedule because the majority of D3 will be produced under the light (so no guesswork supplementing it, and less use of calcium with D3). And purely from an aesthetic standpoint, it looks really nice with fake plants because it's a nice shade of cool light
They sell shadedwellers at PetSmart too and you can get some pretty good deals with coupons if that makes it easier. I understand parents make things tougher though, just something to look into if you get the chance!
i def will, ty!
Dinky what is this enclosure I really like the door
