Probably a dumb question, but is it possible to use isopods from my backyard as terrarium cleaners or is it better to buy from a breeder?

Wild Caught runs the risk of transferring unknown parasites to your Leo when eaten NQA

There's some really dirt cheap pods out there like any type of powders( blue or orange). Just make sure the type of isopods you choose aren't so protein hungry that they'll predate the Leo for protein during vulnerable times.

lmfao Yeah, a common example of a protein hungry pod would be "Dairy Cows". It's not like they will hunt the Leo down or anything, but they are bold enough to nibble on someone's fingers for dead skin cells if they don't feel threatened. NQA

Meaning you stop moving and act like a giant source of food. Which is what some Leo do... The degree of indifference is something I wish to achieve.
