kirby has always been a bit quirky while gizmo has been shockingly normal, but im curious. when he sheds, kirby always leaves his head for last (for some unknown reason) while with gizmo, thats the first thing to go. im pretty sure i remember reading that geckos tend to rub their heads against things to get the shed off before going to the rest of their body, but i may be mistaken. initially i thought it may be due to mouth pain that he avoids doing his head (hes on antibiotics for mouth rot, it’s clearing up!) but hes been doing this since i brought him home last year, so that cant be it.
tldr: kirby leaves the shed on his head for last and i think it’s one of his goofy quirks but i want to know HOW goofy and if anyone else’s leo does this
