welp

#

the good news is shes not obese

#

nqa shes definitely a tad more overweight than the average gecko should be though

#

geckos are like people. theres not one diet or schedule that will get your gecko to the perfect weight. its something that has to be tested and done for a long time with your own gecko to see what suits them best.

#

your diet for her, however, is indeed quite a fatty one. of all the common feeders, superworms are probably the worst in terms of health. mealworms are also fatty, but not as much.

#

i think your gecko happens to have a lower metabolism, meaning shes just going to retain weight longer than others.

#

i think for her id attempt 5 or so healthier feeders like crickets, dubias or silkworms once a week, and weigh her regularly. and if someone else can chip in, they can do so

grasshoppers and locusts are very very hard to get legally alive in the united states

#

there's maybeee one legal species of grasshoppers? and i'm not even sure if they're sold across state borders

Earthworms can be a good substitute

#

But they have to be targeted for pets

#

Maybe search chicken earthworm suppliers?

Im not a professional though, wait go get a second's opinion
