#he no eat
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
At one years old they only eat 1-2 times a week, it's possible he just isn't hungry
Right but it's so random cus he's been eating every other day since I got him not gaining or losing weight wouldn't the gap between days without eating slowly change instead of instantly
His metabolism might be slowing down as he ages, it's different for every gecko
It's also breeding season right now which affects the appetite of some geckos!
I would just keep offering food to see if he takes it, and weighing him/keeping an eye on him to make sure he's not losing weight quickly.
Update he still refuses to eat and is getting skinnier I put his food bowl right in front of him and he just stared at it then fell asleep

He isn't rapidly losing weight but his tail is a little bit skinnier
Haven't weighed him because my scale literally broke 6 days ago and the new one hasn't came yet
4 days isn’t a cause of concern, mine hasn’t ate in 2+ weeks and isn’t interested in food
Ok but he's getting skinnier
If you are concerned about him, then you should take your animal to the vet. This goes with any animal that’s under your care! But I would wait a day or two and if he’s still not eating after that then take him to the vet!
THEY WERE TAKEN OUT SUCCESSFULLY HE GOT HIS MEDS AND WE BIG CHILLIN
