Basically it have a cricket that’s acting off (slow and lethargic) should I feed it to my gecko (guessing not) and what should I do with it if not?

When in doubt I'd just skip it, feeder insects are cheap and replaceable. The cricket might just be on its way out, in my experience they're more sensitive than other feeders and very prone to dying. You can freeze the cricket and then dispose (or by this point it may have passed already, which in that case just dispose).
