This is my Leo and his tail is a dull gray color. He’s shed before and this is what it looked like but I had recently had him pet sat by a coworker of mine and I had been feeding him 4-5 worms a day and when my coworker gave him back to me he told me he was feeding him 7-8 worms a day. Is he alright? That change in diet shouldn’t hurt him right? I think since he was fed more than usual he’s starting to shed

NQA Feeding him more of the same foods would most likely just make him fatter, but if it was a temporary thing even that wouldn't really be a problem. He just looks like he's getting a lil pre-shed dustiness to him

Oh ok so he’s fine but he’s just going to shed

I’ve had him since August and he’s only shed three times. Should I be feeding him more while he’s still young so he sheds more while he’s younger and still growing?

this server recommends feeding leos 0-6months old everyday, as much as they can eat in 15 minutes with time to swallow in between each feeder. same thing for 6-12 months but once every two days. if your leo is a year old or over, 1-2 feedings a week with the amount of feeders depending on the metabolism and needs of each individual gecko

if hes still quite young he'll likely have shed more than three times with you. they usually shed quickly out of sight so you may not have noticed
